Science Delusion

Rupert Sheldrake

Rupert Sheldrake
... is a Cambridge-trained research biologist whose modest proposals in his book Seven Experiments that Could Change the World (1994), have very much upset the scientific orthodoxy. His experiments are designed to help explain many hitherto mysterious natural phenomena, such as the migration of birds, human/pet telepathic connections, and the phantom limbs of amputees. He is best known for his theory of "morphic resonance" - "a web of memory linking generations of creatures everywhere, allowing the experiences of each to benefit all." The author of A New Science of Life, The Presence of the Past, and The Rebirth of Nature. His most recent work is The Science Delusion (US title: Science Set Free).
